Re: Equipment

Hi Ben and James

To say that the GS-232 is a bit pricey, is a gross understatement. Pablo,
EA4TX has built a small self-contained interface together with his program
ARS or WINARS which works extremely well with my G-1000SDX and G5500 is a
compatible rotor as well. And it is at a fraction of the cost of GS-232

The RCI board as it is called, uses the computer´s printer port and half a
dozen satellite programs are supported, among them Nova and WinOrbit. I use
it with the TRX-Manager software which has a built-in (Packet or Internet)
DX-cluster to automatically swing the beam into the right direction of the
DX. More info on www.ea4tx.com and www.trx-manager.com
