Howdy Pedro:

You certainly can work the FO birds with the eggbeaters.  I
have worked them for several years now using 25w output with a
70cm pre-amp at the receiving antenna.

The amazing thing it that the eggbeaters are mounted only 4
feet above the ground!!!
