Those of us that travel internationally have seen this for years...

It's such an inconvienence for the "JET SETTERS" (read business men),
to not walk in and carry their entire office on the plane that a US
carrier (as Businesses/ their bread and butter...) bent to accomidate them,
so these men could (Including me!) just walk out and go about their
business.

USA (as usual) created the monster (easy travel/access) and the uninformed
or "poor me" people suffer (or think they do... how many miles a year do you
fly?)

I have a trip for you... FLA/WAS Dulles/Heathrow/DeGuall/CAIRO/MANAMA.... 34
Hours
Paper time (about 2.3 days living hell time) (Each airport requires check in
(scanning))
(Oh by the way this is the CHEAPEST route.... better FLA/DEGUALL/MANAMA
only 27 Hours)
but the Govt. is making the routes and paying the bills.  I do this 5-7
times a year...
then hop about the Gulf...  Humm let me see.... its 14000+ miles (one way..)
driving
would take me about... well you get the picture...

So please replace your Rose Colored Glasses with a little forethought before
we are all
driving around the globe....


SORRY this is continuing an off topic but like this BBS you get the good
with the bad..
Again I apologise, but I when I have a nerve twinged I tweak back.
