Hand-carry Arrow antenna?

I'm not going to leave the 7x7 UHF Arrow antenna at home, because I want to WA5JVB to measure the gain at the symposium.

The question is whether or not I should CHECK the bag or if I'm likely to get away with taking the Arrow antenna in carry-on luggage. The elements are only about the length of a ball point pen. The boom is quite stubby for use as a weapon (not nearly as effective a weapon as a cane which is permitted onboard).

It is amusing what's allowed and not allowed. My mini Swiss Army knife is forbidden, even though an ordinary pencil makes a much better weapon and is allowed.
