Re: AO-40 passband back on



Two things.
1.  At 0600 UTC most people, like myself, are comatose.
2.  As the squint approaches the mid to low 20s the passband really thins
out.
     At 30 degrees the probability of having a QSO is remote.  Yes, the
beacon is strong
     but remember that the high gain receive antennas are offpointing 30
degrees and not picking up much signal
