I think you're right. 440 is where dimensions start getting critical, and
I'm not sure you can cut a notch accurately enough. Even if you could, the
harmonic would get through, small enough as it is.
I suppose you're familliar with the diplexer in the antenna's handle; I
also found that Far Circuits has blank boards for them as well. I would
get the parts from Digi-Key or somewhere.
