Hi,
Recent mailings from Bob suggest that PCsat (NO-44) is well can can be
used. However, he added that the satellite was again entering longer
periods of eclipse.
NO-44's beacon signal looked like this on it's last pass over ZL. (0045z 9 Oct)
Fm W3ADO-1 To BEACON Via SGATE <UI pid=F0 Len=42 >[13:45:20]
T#028,153,153,047,208,213,11111111,0011,1
My failing memory tells me that those first two "1"s after 208,213, are a
bad sign, and that we should not use it. Is this true?
The transmitted packets start out well, but the signal strength falls off
before the entire packet has been sent, indicating perhaps that the battery
is discharged.
