Re: GO-32 BBS



As John indicates, the GO-32 downlink is only on when you ask for a DIR or a 
download.  Very interesting ... don't know what that means but it sure is 
different.  If you did not know what frequency it was on and were looking for 
it, you would never find it unless somebody else commanded it to transmit.  I 
was able to get the DIR Up-To-Date in just two requests (about 20 entries) 
and easily download files (look like garbage to me).  This bird has a BIG 
signal... easily 10 dB over UO-22, maybe more.   I also saw Roy, W0SL in the 
que tonight.
