I purchased a CalAmp converter from WJ6T.  He advertised about 6 weeks ago
on
the -BB list.  His original message is still in the amsat-bb archives at the
amsat web page http://www.amsat.org.

The converter with the IF at 145 MHz and the DC input on a separate F
connector
cost US$56.00 ($50.00 for converter + $6.00 S/H0.  Bob's e-mail address is

I received the converter very quickly.  It requires 16-24 VDC to operate.
But,
since I am currently busy with my college classes I haven't had a chance to
hook
it up yet.  Perhaps during the Christmas vacation I'll have a chance to see
how
things work.
