FodTrack use with Windows 2000

I am trying to migrate my Ham radio programs to a new operating system,
Windows 2000. Although FodTrack appears to install without a glitch, I am
unable to make it operate my G-5400 rotator control in the calibrate mode.
Manfred, XQ2FOD writes saying that he has had reports from users telling him
that it works in their Windows 2000 setups. We suspect that it has to do
with allowing the parallel port to directly access interface without
interference from a driver. It was working fine with Windows 95 and the
same port served tracking as well as a printer and a zip drive through a
switch box. The bios allows "normal" as well as "ECP" and "EPP" and I tried
them all. Appreciate any help I can get on this one.
