PCsat QST: Please turn off all unattended nightime transmissions.
Having left full sun on Sunday, PCsat is still fully operational without
reset and today is passing through 25 minute eclipses on every orbit.
Although I reported a RESET last night during heavy loading over Europe in
the dark, one of the many command stations around the world caught it in
time and restored it before we lost too much energy. As long as we never
let it go a full orbit with a RESET condition, we may be able to keep her
in positive power budget for a while...
We are leaving the user digipeater ON because that is what it is up there
for, but I would ask that users go easy on her in the dark and please turn
off ALL unattended beacons after dark and before sunrise!
Lets see if we can keep her alive a while longer. Would love to make it
to full sun again in November...
Normal operations in sunshine are OK...
