Re: "Big-Dish" project.

hmm.. as far as the ruler thing goes, Adobe Acrobat is a real pain for
scaling. It prints fine on various HP laser printers here at work and on a
Tektronix/Xerox Phaser wax printer here. I got to admit I didn't try it on
a ink-jet since I don't have one handy.

I'm not sure, but the acrobat might have a print at xx% option... so you
could try 103%, etc. This is why the ruler is there. I'll have to check
further.

As far as the status with the bird, I'd like to try 1296 MHz EME someday and
I still like to play with the occasional TVRO and WEFAX signal, so I don't
think I'm at much risk. I hope the 3-axis stabilization goes well as I
think it'd improve the communications ability of the bird. IF things do get
worse, the BUDs will become necessary anyway, probably!

I have old equipment for the L uplink already, so that's low risk as well
for me. I feel that experimenting with the equipment is 90% of the hobby
anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
