Re: Atlas rocket and Hispasat satellite launch



You know, sometimes being a parent works out!

I had the good fortune to be at Kennedy Space Center last week as part of my
daughter sponsored vacation. We did the tourist thing with all the exhibits
(you learn to appreciate their air conditioning) and finished up with a
stroll over to the Shuttle exhibit just in time to see them "light the
bird". We managaed to get what we could see on tape. A truly inspiring sight
for this New Englander.

This still doesn't make up for all the things she did as a kid but comes
really close!
