I have not been able to cross reference or find the specifications for the
MRF 182 RF transistor.
You could inquire at RF Parts for a suitable cross reference or
specifications.  The frequency that this mobile phone operated at ( 800 -
900 MHz ?) would be within the frequency parameters of the transistor.

For anyone desiring to build or modify solid-state RF amplifiers, I
recommend that they read the Motorola Application Notes, written by the late
Helge Granberg, W7SE (sk).  Although many of his application notes on the
CCI web site are for frequencies below 250 MHz, you may inquire with CCI
about his other papers on UHF applications.  Helge almost always included a
PC board design with his application notes.
