I was just able to trip Leila with my barefoot FT-847, a short run of
8x, and "elliptically" phased yagi's (i.e. phased beams, 1/4 wave boom
offset along the line of the booms) during Field Day. Note the
sophisticated oak cross boom and holding clamps (hi).

I have a Gulf Alpha on order -- something a bit more dedicated. :-)
