Re: go ahead for P3-E and P5-A


This is WONDERFUL news for hams around the globe!

A successful P5A mission to Mars would be THE crowning technical
achievement in the history of amateur radio.

Not only would it lead amateur radio back into the forefront of
technology, but the worldwide publicity that such a mission could
generate would be worth a hundred-fold the cost of the mission.

In this day and age, young folks aren't easily impressed ... I work a
guy on another continent with CW and my kids say, "why didn't you just
call him on the cell phone?"

But a ham radio mission to Mars? Now that's "cool"!
