Hi All,
The other day, I was re-reading the hardware spec of the IHU-2,
onboard AO-40.
However, what I couldn't see was if the ARM CPU (& other
components) were radiation hardened, or they were just "Off
The Shelf".
Anyone know ? The "Common Sense" part of me says "Of Course It's
RAD Hardened", but then I thought that it might just be possible
that the S/C frame may be providing shielding anyway, thus
reducing the amount of hardening needed for each induvidiual
components.
Or did I just miss it in the articles ?
All the Best
Iain.
