It was. Too many people are trying to get things cut and dried to the last
fraction of a dB before they try satellites; its not necessary. And innovation
like this is comparable to G3RUH buying a wok to see if it could be used as
a dish (it wok'd xxxx worked fine). Therefore congratulations on being a
real radio amateur. Likewise to the users of tomato cans around helices and
other similar innovation.

It *was* G3RUH in an old edition of Amsat-UK's Oscar News.
