Yes, there is more than one way to accomplish most things. That is true.

We all work for or with others. Even if we run our own business, we work
for our customers. There are leaders in every project. Hopefully they can
get the best person in the right position to make the project go. If we all
just jumped in there and did what we wanted to, we could end up with a very
nice set of hardware modules and no satellite to put them on. Since no-one
chose to build a spaceframe. Or some really cool software and no hardware
to utilize it. I know that I am taking this to an extreme. But my point
is, we can not all run around finding things to do. A company or project
needs an organization. A project needs a leader or leaders, but it needs
far more workers and supporters than leaders.
Now, someone developing something new or different, advancing the art, that
may or may not work, is great. That could be an individual thing. But we
also need the guy who goes down to the integration facility and just does
whatever is needed. Nothing special, nothing planned, just there to assist
and do anything.

Most everyone needs one, and uses them, they just may not admit it. I'm
glad to get the help I do, so I don't have to make the same mistakes that
were made before. Shoot, I am perfectly capable of finding new ones to
make. So I can become proficient and an asset far quicker than if I figured
it out on my own. And hopefully, one day, I can pass that information on to
someone else and they can continue to advance the art! That is a major part
of the enjoyment, working as a team not as a individual.
Enough said. I just hope that someone can pickup on Don's offer, and his
desire to participate. And get him involved in some capacity. Whatever it
might be. Because there is nothing more fun than to be part of a successful
team.
