Re: AO-7 beacon vs. transponder



Wayne and the group.  Thanks for the reply.  
I asked these questions as I was hearing a weak beacon on 70 cm and I
was producing some signals back on two meters BUT I was hearing myself
in a set up not proved to be clear of cross modulation.  Europe always
seems to hear mode A signals.  I rarely do.  Regardless of Larry, VA3LK
comments, I think that cross moding does occur and I heard just that!
