That is a good state to be in really. During my working life I rarely had
any idea how to get done what the organization wanted - I had to figure it
out myself.

OK, Mike that is certainly one way, I hope we can agree there are other
ways as well.

Certainly a nice way to do things and it makes it easier in some ways to
get off the ground. It is of course not the only way and that is
important. There are those of us who will work for others and with others
throughout our lives. There are those who dance to a different drummer and
they make things happen and find things to do.

Mike it is a good opinion for some. Mentors are not always available or
even exist. So some need them and others don't, we still soldier onwards.
Good luck with your work, I hope we can meet on the air one of these days.
