2m uplink available on Wednesdays

Hi All,

As per the latest schedule, (attached below), it is now possible to uplink
through AO-40 on Wednesdays, between MA120 and MA128.

N QST AO-40 S2 Downlink # - Wednesdays only 2002-06-11
       MA 036 120# 128 160 200 240 036
        ----------1-----4-----3-----5-----7-----0-----1
        MB | * | * | | * | * | * |
        RUDAK | | | * | | | |
        V-Rx | | * | * | | | * |
        U-Rx | * | | | * | * | |
        Passband | UL | VL | | UL2 | | |

In other words, the UL passband operates from MA036 to MA128 inclusive,
except on Wednesdays, when it runs from MA036 to MA120, and then MA120 to
MA128 in mode VL.

This now provides people an opportunity to uplink on 2m, and talk to other
amateurs who are uplinking on 2m or 23cm (but not be able to talk to
amateurs that uplink on 70cm).

I'm interested in hearing from stations that are excited one way or another
about this; how many stations are "locked out" during this 1 hour period on
Wednesdays, and how many people will be trying a 2m uplink?

One concern is that "most" people are using 2m as the IF for their 2.4GHz
downlink.
