Re: RE: satellite tracking program

Thanks to everyone who sent me a e-mail. I believe I've got my problems
fixed with tracking software. I'm kinda embarassed to admit what the
problem was but I'll go ahead and tell the group so everyone will know and
maybe the information will help out someone else. Anyway, I had satscape
set for Standard Time when in fact we are in Daylight Savings Time here in
the USA. DOH! After I changed that option in the settings on satscape, I
compared the position of the satellites in Jtrack to the position of the
sats in satscape and they match perfectly. It looks like I just missed a
GREAT pass of UO-14 over the middle of the US by just a few minutes. UGGG!
That's just my luck. Guess I'll have to wait until next time. Also, does
anyone know if AO-27 is active? There is a pass coming up pretty soon but I
don't want to waste my time if it's not turned on. The Tyson / Lewis fight
is getting ready to start :-)

Thanks for all your help. Now wish me luck on the Extra Class exam I'm
going to take tomorrow!

Later,
Matt
