Re: Metal Booms



The answer is, of course "It depends".  WA5VJB, Kent (the originator of the
"cheap yagi" so many folks use).  Presented a nice paper at the 1993
AMSAT-NA symposium, where he tested the metal boom.  In a nut shell there
are several small areas along the boom to avoid and you will be okay.
