[amsat-bb] Canted S-band antennas on satellite

I wonder what others think of this idea.

On a spin-stabilized satellite like AO-40
why couldn't we have multiple S-band transmit
antennas mounted at different angles to the boresite.
Then by picking the right antenna we could improve
the Squint vs. MA. Not perfect but better than one
I would think. It would require a multiple-position
coax switch, maybe 3 or 4 positions.
