[amsat-bb] Helix or the patch?

I need to build a feed for a BBQ 3'x2' or Primestar dish.
Actually I'd like to build one of each with an N-connector
at the other end.  This is for AO-40 S-band RX.  RHCP
is preferred and I know there has been some discussion
on circular polarized patch feeds.

Looking for comments and URLs on both.
