Agreed! Emulating an 1802 in a programmable device
would seem to be very straight forward - probably a lot
easier than a PIC. The instruction set is small,
highly symmetric, and let's face it, its from 1975!
I have a full set of manuals if anyone wants to try as
well as a "real" 1802 system to use as a reference.
As the Professor used to say, "We leave this exercise
to the interested student..."
