Variable/step attenuators for 70 cm and ?

Has anyone seen a plan for a variable attenuator for use through 70 cm, and
perhaps higher? Looking around the net, and through my ARRL books, comes up
with some units which use toggle switches which seem problematical for use
much above 2 M or so.
