[amsat-bb] New Sat - FM multiplex?

Just a thought, inspired by having heard 1200bd packet going through UO-14,
I fell to thinking about how to control the uplink on  any new fm bird.

I'm far from an expert in these matters but I  wonder if there isn't some
potential to multiplex several stations onto the up link and then sort them
out on the downlink eg by  TDMA?????or even CDMA with the code being the
callsign? Would need another digital box between the mike and the tx ...

so the sat would listen on one uplink control frequency, call you on the
down link and then you uplinked on a second uplink freq...that way the sat
is organising the link...

No doubt it's another silly idea of mine!
