Actually, this makes a lot of sense because the antenna pattern is an
oval.  By making the long axis of the dish vertical, this puts the WIDE
part of the antenna pattern horizontal which is where most of the movement
of AO-40 is.  So traking the movement of AO-40 with the vertical dish will
be easier...
