[amsat-bb] Re: THD7 and split

I push the "Dup" button and get audio feedback howl from the satellite! So
I take the audio out from the 2.5 mm jack and put it through a recording
walkman and listen to my return path on thewalkman earphones whilst
recording it. 

This: 

a) lets me hear myself coming back through the satellite with no feedback

b) gives me a tape record which is useful in a fast exchange (and when
operating at night, hi!)

Although sometimes i get rf feedback into my walkman headphones this
doesn't get onto the bird. A solution might be to wire a separate
microphone at the same time (would move the rf away from the earphones), or
to put rf chokes into the walkman-earphone line.

See previous post. With 5w and an arrow I have worked from Canada to Sweden
to the Canary Islands, from my garden in central England.
