[amsat-bb] Pacific Monolithics Downcoverter Project

Greetings all

I have a couple of Pacific Monolitics MDS downconverters that were
made to go infront of a BBQ style dish - these units are encased in
white plastic and have an integrated antenna and reflector as part
of the PC board.
Anyway....
Has anyone ever made a weak signal source out of these or other
modification to use on Mode S?
