[amsat-bb] FIELD DAY

Gentlemen,

While testing my Field day setup this morning i noticed that when the
bird it crowded
Signals are significantly lower and with the small dishes used for
portable ops the
signals were almost borderline.  It got me to thinking .  On field day
there will be a lot
of guys on the bird and a lot of small portable setups.  I know no one
needs to be reminded
of using minimal power , lelia does that for us quite adequately but on
field day lets really try
to keep it to the minimum so that all the smaller guys get a chance to
put on a good show.
A lot of these portable setups will be in the field to introduce people
to sat ops And a good
showing in the field will really help out.
