I agree with Bob. I think that mode B would help to clear up some of the
problem. However, Changing to mode B isn't the whole solution. People
must learn to use a reasonable amount of power on the Leos and as with any
other mode it is always best to listen first and key the transmitter last.
Mode B also gives the person with very modest receiving equipment a real
opportunity to develop an interest in our hobby.
In closing Let me Say thanks to all Who worked us from the Scout-o-Rama
Here in Midland today. You made a lot of Boy Scouts happy , and We have a
new crop of students for our next Tec. Class!
