STS-110 launch window
Hello friends,
I'm still trying to recalculate the launch window of STS-110.
The last keps were:
ISS
1 25544U 98067A 02098.18263889 .00057569 00000-0 69781-3 0 2757
2 25544 51.6392 44.6861 0002983 7.9842 193.0761 15.60067142193113
The launch window predicted by NASA was 20:34:31 - 20:44:30 UTC,
the estimated launch time 20:39:31 UTC (epoch = 02098.86077546).
Later on it has been postponed to 20:44:19 UTC.
Before I break my old humble brain:
Anybody (perhaps Phil Karn ? 8-)) who could give me the formula
(in terms of Davidoff's Handbook) to calculate the epoch when
the orbital plane passes over the launch site (lon = 80.61 W;
lat = 28.68 N)? That's the time when the orbital plane passes over
the point lon = 106.27 W on the equator.
Tnx in advance, 73 - Udo, DL7OL ***
