[amsat-bb] AO-40 K-Band Reception

Folks

At the present attitude, the K-Band beacon is only audible on a largish 
dish in the current slot,  owing to the squint angle being quite high.  The 
beacon is running about 9dB above noise (peak level) here at the moment on 
the 10ft dish (under-illuminated to perform more like a 5ft dish).

This situation will improve rapidly as the satellite approaches 0/0.

Observations are being made as satellite visibility allows to obtain a 
correlation of beacon strength with squint angle.
