Having been to two post 9-11 launches, the first thing you are met with going into the KSC Visitors center, while you are being checked out for security, you see a gentleman with an Uzi strapped across his chest. (I'd be going this time if I had someone to fill in for me on Friday.) For the "average joe," this witholding information isn't going to amount to a hill of beans and for those who do care, will be able to figure out the times. I remember during the DOD launches, that the countdown clock was set at T minus 9:00.
That day has changed America forever. I don't mind this extra security.
