The January 2002 issue of SPACEFLIGHT, from the British Interplanetary
Society, has some nice amateur radio related items:
Pg 18 -- "Kodiak Star: First orbital launch from new site in Alaska"
has a picture of PCSat, SAPPHIRE, Starshine and PICOsat as they are
prepared for launch.
Pg 11 -- "Space for Amateurs: The role of enthusiasts in space
exploration and development" by Clark S. Lindsey is a 3-page article on
amateur hobbies and space exploration, where amateur radio is
prominently featured. Included is a photo of P3D on top of the Ariane 5
(by Wilfred Gladisch of AMSAT-DL) and of Sergej Krikalyov at the ARISS
station.
Enjoy!
