Re: Maroc-Tubsat Satellite Signal

Here's a thought (maybe I'm just thinking too much) on the MAROC-TUBSAT

Suppose you're a little country (Morocco) which, unlike the U.S., doesn't
have government-owned ground stations around the world to monitor a
satellite's operation during the first few critical months after launch.
Suppose also that your satellite does have frequency-agile transmitters.
What to do?

Well, maybe you could temporarily position your telemetry in ham bands where
there's going to be operators and ground stations all over the world. Sign
up for AMSAT-BB postings and let the hams do the rest. What's Arabic or
French for "Thanks most of all for the WAV files!"....
