Re: [aprssig] Mobile FM satellite skeds

Mobile/FM Satellite Pass Periods for the week of 01-13-2002. Times are
LOCAL times for mid northern latitudes:

Note: Times are LOCAL TIME for MID Northern Latitudes. Use this to
plan your mobile operations during commuting and distant travels.

The "****"'s above just mean that during those hours you will get 2 or 3
passes daily. Here are some simple rules for PCsat's orbit:

1) You will get 2 to 3 passes during two separate periods per day
2) If you hear PCsat, then you will probably hear it 100 minutes later
3) For high passes, the same pass will occur same time -30 mins each day.
4) Once a week, add 100 minutes to this routine to stay on the high pass.

Notice that for the world Traveler, he is never more than an hour or so
without satellite access except for about 1130 to 1300 daily... and
assumign someone is "listening"!

I guess I should also do this for down-under...
