Re: Kenwood TH-F6 deaf?

I have a TH-F7 which is Japanese model of TH-F6A. The difference is "A"
side band. TH-F7 is FM dual bander(144 and 430MHz, no 220MHz). "B" side
is the same as TH-F6A.
I heard AO-40 MB and SSB QSOs clearly with TH-F7 using 1.1m umbrella
dish, 15dB LNA and Drake convertor(2401->145MHz). MB can decode with
this system. This must be one of the smallest AO-40 RX system. It's
very fun!!

It seems no luck on HF with the supplied whip. An extra antenna brings
good results.
