RE: Yaesu 5500 Problem I need help please

Thanks Jim for your answer.

I think the problem isn't in the controller because I swapped the connectors
between the elevation and azimuth rotators and the problem still only in the
azimuth (using the elevation part of the controller). Also I can hear noise
coming from the motor and it happens using either the switches or the PC

Anyway, thank you very much for your suggestion.

Check the paddle switches on the controller. I've had them fail on my
G-450, and they look like the same switch. The next thing would be to
see if the transformer is still putting out voltage for the motor.
Jerry, K5OE, seems to have a lot of experience with this subject. I'm
sure he'll chime in here! :^)
