Re: "Trash Can" or steel drum dish antennas



If you meant by "local refinaries" an oil refinery- unless you wanted to buy
55 gallons of lube oil, for instance, to get the drum you would better off
to "let your fingers do the walking" and find a drum supplier in your area
that would be willing to sell you one.  If your thought was to get an used
drum from a refinery- drums are generally recycled for credit after the
purchased product is used.  Any drum you might get would be in such poor
condition it probably wouldn't be useful.
