All tracking programs can tell you exactly when a satellite becomes visible
above the horizon at your QTH. However, few people have a 100% "zero
elevation horizon", that is, there are usually some form of obstructions that
you have to contend with, such as mountains, buildings, etc at various
directions around your antennas compass rose. Do any tracking programs allow
you to define the height and direction of obstructions at your specific
location so you can know if a particular sat is really visible, not just
above the theoretical horizon? This could be very useful for low altitude
passes.
