RE: Ground Mounting Antennas

Well, the hole is dug, the quickcrete is sitting next to it along with the
level. The hole is 2 feet deep and the pipe is 8 feet in length. I will
mount the AZ rotor at the top of the pipe and put a 1 foot mast on it which
will connect my elevation rotor and fiberglass boom holding the antennas. I
am putting a 19" Dish Network Dish (No LNB) on one side and BBQ Dish antenna
on the other. Then the M2 14Element and 36 Element antennas on the boom.
The 19 inch dish is more of a counter weight than anything else. Gotta be a
little bit careful given the relative thinness of the pipe I buried. (1
5/8" Fence post).

I figure it will sway a bit, but if I have to, I'll put some tent stakes out
with some twine as guy wires.

Mine are on a very similar rig.
