RE: Patch Antennas
Jim Miller is not keen about using the patch on an offset dish, however I
use his Patch on a 1.2m ChannelMaster offset dish and it works like a house
of fire. Perhaps a prime focus would be better, but I love mine just the way
it is. I hear the transponder being turned on & off with a noise floor of
S3. Who could want more. Most QSOs are in the S5-S9 range. (Arm Chair)
