first satellite qso

just worked a friend of mine here in houston. had no idea he would call on the
satellite. bill, kd5iiu (when he got his call, i nick named him 'is it u') got on uo-14
with about 2 minutes left in the pass. as it was close to horizon on an ascending
pass he called me using his his ht and glass mount dual band antenna. he said
the signals were a bit weak and when he heard scott, kd5fba, and i, he gave it a
shot. he snuck in right between another qso and i went back to him.
after the pass, i went on the local repeater and he showed up. he was as excited
as a kid with a new toy to have made his first satellite contact.
