[amsat-bb] Modifications to Receiver, Anybody?

Hello,

I recently acquired a Sangean ATS-505(Covers 2.3MHz up to 29.999MHz with a Electronic BFO)...

This radio seems to have a Shortwave antenna input, I am wondering, what is the impedence of such a port and is it possible to change this over to a 50ohm type port 
that may be used with standard antennas? I already have a Radioshack HTX-100....
