[amsat-bb] DSP's

I am new to A0-40 (weak signal) operations.  My receive signal seems to
have a high noise level compared to the signal.  I am using the
Directive Systems Model DSH12-17 helical antenna.  It is on a small
tower approximately 40 feet from a 13.8 kv primary line.  I am thinking
a DSP might help.

I was looking at the MFJ-784B ($250) or the Timewave DSP-599zx ($400)
units.  Any thoughts?
