Bob,

A bunch of us on the list are amateur astronomers and equipped with varying 
levels of gear not technically known or specifically geared towards tracking 
spacecraft but some have been discovering such capabilities have been in 
their hip pocket all along and very doable with amateur gear.  Of which, some 
have even received honorable mention in such rags as Sky/Tel and Astronomy 
mags.  For that sort of thing though, you may already be in closer cahoots 
with what you need than anything any of us have here at our homes.
